LiquidShop Updates (June 2011)

Colour Swatches

It is now possible to display a colour swatch for individual options assigned to a product, these can be used to indicate that there are colour options available on a product. Colour swatches work in conjuction with the existing option set functionality.

Phone Number on PayPal Orders

Previously, the phone number was not a mandatory field with PayPal Express payments, this is now a required field and customers will be prompted to enter their details when they return to LiquidShop from PayPal.

This feature is now live on your site, no configuration required

Auto Redirect Search Terms

It is now possible to redirect your customers to a certain section of your website based on the search term that they enter.

With this new addition to LiquidShop you can choose to redirect your customers to a brand, category, product or information page. This allows you to point your customers in the right direction straight from their search on your site.

Choose Products at Checkout

You can now manually select which products are to be displayed on the cart page of the checkout process, previously these would be the related products of those already in the basket.

Searchable Extra Fields

The extra product fields (also known as SEO codes) are now searchable on the frontend of your website, this could be useful if you use the fields for actual reference codes.

Additional Delivery Address

When adding an additional address the Name of Recipient/Delivery Name field mandatory.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

Deleting Outlying Postcodes

We have added the ability to remove outlying postcodes in bulk from the LiquidShop backoffice.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

Disable Products when Disabling a Category

When disabling a category, you can now choose whether the products within are also disabled in the same process.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

Delivery Instructions on the Admin Email

Any delivery instructions are now included on the admin email notification for new orders.

This is a standard feature, no configuration required.

Schedule Special Offers

It is now possible to schedule a special offer to a product, or a range of products, whilst an existing offer is running on the same product. Giving you the ability to 'stack' promotional offers.

Salutation Field

Within the signup form, you can now include a salutation field to gather a title for your customers.

Include Customer Discount in Output Feed

It is now possible, to export values for customer and group discounts, the actual figure that is exported is the 'cart value' figure.

Change Delivery Type on an Existing Order

It is now possible within the backoffice to modify the delivery method on an order, you can also now modify the estimated delivery date on the order.

This is now active on your site if you opt to show your customers an estimated delivery date, please contact support for further clarification.

Hide VAT Breakdown from Invoice

We can now hide the VAT breakdown on an order from the invoice.

Filter by Review Rating

Customers now have the option to sort their results by review rating so that the best rated products will appear at the top of the results page.

Display of Staff Order Notes

You can now choose, on a per staff note basis, if the note should appear on the packing slip, we have also added the functionality to modify staff notes.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

Search by Customer Phone Number

You can now choose search in the backoffice for a customer by their phone number.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

Sagepay Account Link

You can now choose if your link to Sagepay in the backoffice goes to the new design MySagePay or the 'Old Skool' version.

Postcode Import

You are now able to import postcodes to the Outlying Postcodes list complete with surcharges using a csv file.

This is a standard feature no configuration required, available now.

LiquidShop via iPad

You are now able to access the LiquidShop backoffice via Safari on an iPad with limited functionality.
